Dr Roisin Cartwright-Terry Mh ChB 2005 MRCGP 2010

I came to South Yorkshire to study medicine at Sheffield Medical School in 2000 and have worked both in the Sheffield and Barnsley areas since qualifying in 2005. I joined Walderslade Surgery in August 2010 after completing my GP training in the Barnsley area. I enjoyed my training and so was very keen to continue work as a GP locally.

During my training I developed particular interests in medicine for older people and also women's health. I consider myself lucky to be working in a strong forward thinking practice with a great reputation for the care of its patients and have been made very welcome by both staff and patients alike.

Outside of work I enjoy lots of sports and activities and love travelling when time permits!
